CGRC CAN for BMW: Wonder Wheel Control

Understanding Wonderwheel Control Logic

※During installation, you simply need to plug the CGRC CAN into one of two module ports: a 4-pin port for the RDC module, which controls the tire pressure monitoring system, or an 8-pin port for the DWA module, which is the motorcycle's anti-theft alarm system. While our online manual suggests purchasing certain items, those recommendations are for reference only. If, upon inspecting your BMW, you find that a DWA or RDC module will simplify installation, you can opt to purchase the appropriate pin connector according to your motorcycle's specific setup.

※Important caution for RT/K Series with mechanical instruments (2011-2021 K1600 series / 2020 R1250 RT / 2016-2017 R1200 RT): Simultaneous control only occurs in the BMW secondary settings interface. If this limitation is acceptable to you, CGRC CAN is a suitable choice. If not, we recommend opting for the CGRC PRO remote for a smoother experience.

※Crucial message for RT/K Series with TFT gauges (2021-2023 R1250 RT / 2022-2023 K1600 series / 2022-2023 K1600B series): Simultaneous control occurs across all interfaces of both the BMW instrument cluster and the CHIGEE display. We strongly advise avoiding the CGRC CAN for these models. Instead, opt for the CGRC PRO remote for compatibility without interference.

※For R 1300 GS & R 1300 GS ADV, please choose the 6-Pin option and plug it into the DWA module (A263*1B). If you wish to retain your BMW Navigator and not connect the CGRC LIN for the 3-pin navigation interface, the 6-pin option is the most suitable.
